These terms apply when you use the Totu Tales app or this website. By using them, you agree to these terms. Please read them along with our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Totu Tales is a brand of Shraddhey Enterprise, a partnership firm registered in India (GSTIN 08AFCFS4395H1ZM), at Plot No 34, Golden Home, C101 Ground Floor, Jamuna Enclave, Kesar Chourha, Muhana Mandi Road, Mansarovar Extension, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302020. "We", "us" and "our" mean Shraddhey Enterprise.

2. What Totu Tales is

Totu Tales is an audio story app for children. It offers retellings of Indian stories, narrated in English, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati, for families to listen to at home.

3. Who can create an account

• An account must be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over. Children may listen, but only through profiles set up by that adult.
• You are responsible for the account, for keeping your sign-in codes private, and for how your children use the app.
• Please give accurate details. You can update or delete them at any time.

4. Subscriptions and payment

• Some stories need a paid subscription. Current plans and prices are shown in the app before you pay.
• Subscriptions are bought and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, under their terms. We do not take payment directly and never see your card, UPI or bank details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• To cancel, go to your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app, or your Totu Tales account, does not cancel the subscription by itself.
• If we change a price, your store will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

5. Refunds

Because payments are handled by Apple and Google, refunds are handled by them too, under their refund policies. You can request one through the App Store or Google Play. If you have trouble, write to us and we will help where we can.

6. Our stories and content

The recordings, retellings, illustrations, the Totu character, and the Totu Tales name and logo belong to Shraddhey Enterprise or are used with permission. Many of the stories themselves come from traditions that belong to everyone; our versions of them are our own work.

Your subscription lets your family listen for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, record, share, sell, broadcast or re-upload our audio or artwork, or use it to train AI models.

7. Using the app fairly

• Don't try to break, overload or get around the app's security or subscription checks.
• Don't use the app for anything unlawful.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why.

8. Changes to the app

We keep adding stories and improving the app, so things may change. We may occasionally remove a story, or pause the service for maintenance. If we ever close Totu Tales, we will give notice in the app.

9. Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Totu Tales safe, accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Indian consumer law.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a problem comes up, please write to us first; most things can be sorted out quickly. Any dispute we can't resolve will be handled by the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
